Astral Drop

If you've been feeling a little overwhelmed by your problems lately, you might want to take a deep breath and think of the things that's been on your side from the moment you wake up. May it be a beautiful song you've heard playing somewhere or a cute baby who waved at you at the bus. Focusing on the good things will do you no harm, and only leaves you with a light heart. So here's a list of the things I'm grateful for today.

1. The Sun and the Birds - who wish us a great day ahead when we wake up every morning

2. Trees and Plants - which thrive to cleanse the air we breathe

3. Drivers - who take us to places every single day

4. The Neighbour's Dog - who wags his tail every time we walk past their house

5. Artists - who exhibit their works everywhere to please our senses 

6. Farmers - who spend their lives providing us food

7. The Moon and the Stars - who kiss us Goodnight before we doze off to sleep

 Hello everybody! For this week's post, I will be showing you the insides of my handbag. I decided to do this because I really love watching and reading these types of posts and videos, cause maybe I'm just that snoopy hahaha. Anyways, I use this bag whenever I'll be out for quite a time, sometimes I just grab a small crossbody bag that fits only a coin purse, powder and my phone and to be honest, I am a huge backpack person just cause it's easier to carry and move around with, but I have not yet found a really good one, and I'm sort of trying to save money right now, so I'm currently using this black faux crocodile leather satchel bag from Mango which surprisingly, I find the size very fitting for the necessities I usually bring.

Now this just an overview of what I usually bring, because I usually carry around a pouch inside my bag but I think it'll be better to go through that on a different blog post since it contains more than handful, let's just say, that's why I'll be concentrating with the bigger things in this post. Let's get started. 

A Book: First thing to address is the largest one to occupy my bag, a book. I always have a book to read since I like reading during my commute, because I don't drive, it also comes in handy when you're always stuck in queues. Also, I'm currently reading Morgan Matson's Save The Date that has an exclusive message for her filipino fans which iss really sweet. I'm still quite on the first 100 pages but I could already tell I'm gonna love this book. So I recommend you to read it as well. Next thing are my earphones which is technically not in the picture because I was too lazy to fish them from my school bag hahaha but yeah, I'm also one of those people who use their earphones to cancel out the world and just be peaceful in my own space, so there's that.

Moving on, there are a few bits I picked out of my pouch to tackle here in this post. First things first is my Johnson's Baby Powder which never leaves my side at all costs, works well with my Mario Badescu Facial Spray and my favourite Zoella Beauty Body Mist for a cheeky little mid-day touch up. I also have a Mint Tea Hand Cream from Korres to moisturize my hands in case their running a bit dry. A couple of extra hair ties since I always end up tying my hair into a low bun due to the heat outside. My mobile phone which we all know is a staple. Oh btw, I usually have an umbrella inside my bag but again, was too too lazy to get it from my school bag.

Another necessity is of course, my purse, which I could not pretty much leave home without. It's a long brown purse from Charles & Keith which actually comes with a detachable chain just in case you want to use it as a clutch. Fun Fact: this one's actually quite sentimental to me since I consider it as my first 'adult wallet' so yeah, you could say I'm pretty in love with it.

And.... there you go! that's my handbag. On my defense, I really don't have any trash inside it because I hate throwing random things inside my bag, especially receipts and change. I usually store them in my purse away. So, I'm not in any form being pretentious of having a neat bag.
