Old Shirts + Scissors
05 AugustOne of the things I love to do is salvaging old shirts, may it be an old college t-shirt or a worn out souvenir shirt from New York. Over-sized cropped t-shirts are so in right now, so why not make them at home instead of spending money.
I usually go for shirts with statement graphics and slightly faded colours for an added vintage touch. Old souvenir shirts works as well since they usually have the graphics that suits the length of a cropped shirt.
Now to start, lay the shirt flat and draw lines using a marker as a guide to where you want to cut the shirt. Make sure to cut above the lines!
After cutting the shirt, make sure to pull the edges to get rid of the freshly-cut looking ends and Violà! you're done. Pair it with your high-rise jeans and you're good to go!
