Switch Initiative is a series of blog posts that'll show you and take you with me on my journey on slowly and gradually dropping products that aren’t cruelty free and patronizing brands who doesn't just love your skin but animals as well.
Starting of with skincare products, the one vital product on my skincare is a facial cleanser, and sadly it was also the hardest one to give up for me. The Neutrogena Deep Clean Foaming Cleanser had been my holy grail facial wash since high school. Unfortunately, Neutrogena's animal testing policy, similar to their parent company Johnson & Johnson, says that they do test on animal when required by law.
Something to take note is that it has a very strong scent of rose, which I actually expected since the second ingredient on the bottle says so. It smells exactly like my L'Occitaine Rose Shea Balm, which I really love. So for those who are not big fans of the said scent might want to opt for a different product. Nonetheless, Glossier's Milky Jelly Cleanser is great choice.
