Hello everybody! Today's blog entry is a review but not for a book. Behold, for it is a make-up product review! Yaaas girl, you read the title just right. So last April 15, I attended an event (Janina Vela's Birthday Brunch) hosted by Benefit Cosmetics and they were very very generous to give a bag filled with goodies which I am very thrilled to try. The bag includes mostly minis of their new products; Benebalm, the POREfessional face primer, the POREfessional: matte rescue, the POREfessional: instant wipeout mask and they're Real! tinted primer.

These is a newly released tinted balm in lined with the well known benetint lip and cheek tint. What I really liked about this product is that it is dual purpose. I mean, who doesn't like 2-in-1 right? It does moisturize pretty well and you also get a nice tint for your lips. It is not as pigmented as the benetint but it has enough pigment to add a flush color to your lips.

[ the POREfessional face primer ]

Well this is actually not-so-new product of Benefit but still I'll give you a review. Basically it is used to prime your face and to minimize pores. It can be used under foundation but to be honest, you can actually use it as it is cause it really does a good job on minimizing your pores.

[the POREfessional: matte rescue ]

Now on to this product, I find it really good for absorbing facial oil but my skin type is on the dry side which is why I find that this  product clings and does emphasize the dry areas of my face even if I've used a moisturizer before hand. Other than that, I think it is a very good product. The texture or the formula is gel which is not so common for primers though it is a little bit tacky but over all I still do recommend it.

[the POREfessional: instant wipeout mask]

About this product, I didn't know what to expect so I can't actually tell if I'm satisfied or disappointed. What I liked about it is that it gives off this very minty menthol which is very cooling to your skin, what I noticed after using it is that my skin does feel a lot cleaner and smoother but I don't think my pores minimized??? I still see some white and black heads, TMI but anyways, so I don't know. You do you and judge it yourself.

[they're Real! tinted primer]

TBH, I have been wanting to buy the Benefit they're Real! lengthening mascara for the longest time but not able to because I'm torn between whether to buy it or their hoola bronzer which i also really really want. So when I saw the tinted primer inside the bag I was so happy and actually tried it right away when I got home. One thing to tell, It is really good though it doesn't lengthen your lashes like the actual they're real! lengthening mascara, the fact that it is tinted brown, it  kind of gives your lashes a very natural and not so black look to it.
