Me Before You by Jojo Moyes
Lou Clark knows lots of things. She knows how many footsteps there are between the bus stop and home. She knows she likes working in The Buttered Bun tea shop and she knows she might not love her boyfriend Patrick.
What Lou doesn’t know is she’s about to lose her job or that knowing what’s coming is what keeps her sane.
Will Traynor knows his motorcycle accident took away his desire to live. He knows everything feels very small and rather joyless now and he knows exactly how he’s going to put a stop to that.
What Will doesn’t know is that Lou is about to burst into his world in a riot of colour. And neither of them knows they’re going to change the other for all time.
Review:
This book is INSANELY heart-breaking and beautifully written love story. and with the capitalized word, you probably already know my thoughts about the story. It is indeed very heart-breaking which in my case is consuming a whole roll of tissue and spending the whole night crying and feeling miserable after finishing the book. Just saying though, I don't want to scare you about it. It has a well written story line and a very built up characters that brings the funniness in the story. It will surely stir your feelings deep inside. There would be days where everything is going right and the weather is sunny but there are the days that Oh boy, please be okay moments. Personally, I hated the ending, I mean come on! Read it and you'll know what I'm saying. But turns out that it is actually the thing Jojo Moyes is good at, UNPREDICTABLE ENDINGS. I still love the book so much and since it will be in a motion picture soon, you need to read it before the movie releases!!! or maybe not because I've watched the trailer million times and since then, every time I hear Ed Sheeran's song Photograph, my heart breaks to million pieces over and over again.
Okay, TBH, when I saw this picture on pinterest, I got teary eyes instantly.
