Taking a Breather | Relaxing in the midst of a packed schedule

10 September

Hey guys, so this week's entry is a day late (again) from my usual upload since I got a little bit caught up by my exams. So I find posting this topic this week very fitting for people like me who might be in the midst of their examinations as well. Here are 5 Ways of Taking a Break in your busy schedule.

Spend time with nature//
May you be an outdoor person or a home buddy, a cheeky little walk at a park while looking at the cerulean sky to rest your mind and tired eyes could give you an instant boost of refreshment. In case there aren't any parks near you, even watering your plant babies at home would surely do.

Talk to someone//
When I'm stuck studying for hours, something to take my mind off of the stress would probably chatting with someone. Talking about things other than the formula of arc elasticity would give you at least 15 minute break from reviewing.

Cook your favourite meal//
Treat yourself during your break by cooking or preparing your favourite dish or even making your favourite drink. Not only you do fill your cravings but also divert your self from all things stressful to something enjoyable.

Clean your space//
Personally, I like keeping my space neat. You don't want a messy room to go with your very busy mind. Personally, cleaning is actually one of my mental breaks. From washing the dishes or tidying up my closet, all of which I do when I want to shortly escape my home works. Plus, it helps me concentrate seeing my desk pristine and having to know where to find things I'll be needing. Like they said, a tidy space is a tidy mind.

Take a Shower//
What else to do when you're overwhelmed by your papers and deadlines but a nice shower. Close your books, drop your pen and head out for a cold shower to wake you up during a late night reviewing or a relaxing hot shower in the morning to calm your nerves before an exam. Surely a way to take a breather without taking so much time from your  busy schedule.

"And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus."
